How to transfer files via WiFi from PC to Android (Wireless)

In today’s lesson, we will show you how to easily transfer files between Android and your computer. Best of all, we’ll show you how to transfer the files via WiFi without the hassle of having to look for a USB cable or removing the SD card from your Droid. There’s a lot of different ways to get files to/from your Android device to your computer. But I’ve been searching for the easiest method possible, so that I could teach users of all levels how to do it in a matter of minutes. Luckily, I was able to find a great app that makes transferring files between Android and your computer extremely simple. The app is WebSharingLite [Market Link] and it allows you to connect your Android device and computer together via the WiFi network in your home and/or office. There is no set up needed, just run the WebSharingLite app and it tells you exactly what to enter into any web browser’s URL bar to get there. You’ll then be able to upload/download whatever files you need. File sharing on Android has never been simpler than this! Step-by-Step Instructions:

Go to the Android Market
Search for “WebSharingLite” app
Install the “WebSharingLite” app by NextApp, Inc.

Launch the App and click on the Start button at the bottom left

WebSharing will then be activated and you can go to your PC and type in the URL displayed on the screen into your web browser. If prompted, enter the password listed on the screen.

That’s it! Start transferring the files you need!

IRCTC Tatkal Booking New Timings, July 2012

Everyone knows how hard it is to book tatkal tickets. Keeping in my mind the server issues and long waited queues, the Railway authorities have decided to revamp the tatkal booking system, which includes a change in timings as well as separate counters for tatkal bookings.

Starting July 10th, tatkal ticket sales will be available from 10:00 am instead of 8:00 am. Also, separate queues are meant to be implemented wherever possible.

A few other important changes would be, authorized agents, including IRCTC agents, will not be allowed to book tickets during the first two hours. These steps will surely prevent morning rush at ticket windows.

In addition to this, an official said that they’re planning to implement separate tatkal timings for each train in future.

Let’s see whether we can book tatkal tickets without any hassle from now onwards :)

Due to frequent traveling these days, I've been booking my tickets online from IRCTC website which is said to be the most trafficked e-commerce site in India. At times, it is the most useful website but when it comes to the TatKal Tickets, it almost tests your patience by slow loading and server failure errors, which i feel the most frustrating attempt from such a big brand. There are many a times, where I failed to book a single Tatkal ticket and ended up in vein.

Automatically Set Bing Wallpaper as your Google Homepage Background

Microsoft's Bing search engine is known for its creative & cool backgrounds. Bing updates its homepage background every day with a unique wallpaper.
